Calm Down!!!
Morning commute
This woman on the subway watched me do the second drawing, and she was complimenting me on it which was very nice of her and I was all bashful about it because I don’t know how to handle people telling me they like my drawings, and as she gets off for her stop she turns around before she leaves and tells me SO SINCERELY “i’m very proud of you” and I was just kind of confused.

‘Nother Gay Figure Drawing figure drawing. This one was ten minutes, I believe.
I went to this gay figure drawing class at the LGBT center in manhattan(which was a lot like a regular figure drawing class except all the artists were old gay dudes and the model was RIDICULOUSLY conventionally attractive!!!!!!!!) and this is a five-minute drawing I did that I liked.
Here are some drawings from the Museum of Natural History last week! I’m really, really excited about them and am hoping to make a poster out of them in watercolors.
I’ve been doing lots of silly little abstractions lately, trying to figure out the shapes and marks I tend to gravitate to. These would make cute stickers.
